The days are ticking down if you haven't already voted for your favorite country music artists nominated for a CMT Music Award.
The awards show is scheduled to air live on Wednesday, June 8, on CMT as well as online at cmt.com.
This is a fan-voted award show, and fans can vote online at http://www.cmt.com now through Tuesday, June 7.
Greeneville country artists The Band Perry are nominated for three CMT Music Awards: "Video of the Year," "Group of the Year "and the USA Weekend "Breakthrough Video of the Year."
Each award won on the show will result in CMT making a financial donation to the winner's favorite charity.
The Band Perry has designated the Greene County Chapter of the American Red Cross as their charity of choice to receive any money, if they win a CMT Music Award.
The band, comprised of siblings Kimberly, Neil and Reid Perry, learned that their No. 1, Grammy-nominated hit single, "If I Die Young," has achieved Double Platinum certification for sales exceeding two million just as Memorial Day weekend began.
"It's been an amazing year! So many have embraced the message of 'If I Die Young' and we are humbled that it has impacted so many people. This is truly an honor," the band members said in a statement.
The Republic Nashville recording artists are currently on Tim McGraw's Emotional Traffic Tour and will join Keith Urban on the road in September.
"I am so proud of The Band Perry! They never cease to amaze me with their ambition and this honor is proof of that and their incredible talent," said Nashville Republic's president Jimmy Harnen, in a statement.
The band performed in Nashville on Thursday as part of the VH1 Save The Music Foundation's "Songwriters Music Series," presented by Starburst®.
On Wednesday, June 8, the Perry's are scheduled to attend the CMT Music Awards.
Earlier this year, fans awarded The Band Perry the coveted title of the Academy of Country Music's "Top New Artist of the Year," as well as the Award for "Top New Duo or Group of the Year."
The band's current single, "You Lie," is their fastest-rising to date and is now a Top 10 hit. This is the third single off their self-titled debut album, which was released in October 2010, and was certified Gold just four months later.
On Saturday, July 2, The Band Perry is scheduled to return home to East Tennessee for a performance in Rogersville as part of that town's annual Independence Day celebration.
The Rogersville Fourth of July Celebration is a free day of entertainment and music made possible through public and private donations and sponsorships.
