Brush and limb pickup for the City of Tusculum begins Monday.

Tusculum Public Works personnel will remove small limbs no longer than six feet, and limbs must be tied into bundles not weighing more than 35 pounds. Bundles should be placed at streetside.

City workers will also pick up small/fine hedge clippings, flower-cuttings and leaves placed in plastic bags. Weight should not exceed 35 pounds.

Public Works personnel will note the items for pickup during their regular weekly garbage pickup, and pick up items separately at a later time since the items cannot be mixed with household garbage, city Recorder John Lamb said.

Anyone with questions can call 423-638-6211 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., Monday through Friday.
