The Volunteer State Auto Club, in conjunction with the Greeneville Parks and Recreation Department, will present the 23rd Annual Volunteer State Auto Show on Saturday, June 22, at Hardin Park.
The event is from noon to 8 p.m.
All rods, classics, customs and muscle cars are invited to participate. Registration is $15 per vehicle. Admission is free for spectators.
Entertainment at this year's show has been stepped up from years past, a news release said.
Nick Fillers and the Fugitives will give a country/Southern rock performance at 2:30 p.m. At 4 p.m., JB and the Wild Honey Band will take the stage.
Another highlight will be presentations by Rolling Thunder, a group of mostly veterans that memorializes Prisoners of War (POW) and those Missing in Action (MIA).
There will be two presentations, at noon and at 1:30 p.m.
Free parking will be available at the Crescent Street entrance to Hardin Park, as well as at Optimist Field, the maintenance parking lot at the Old Field and at Hal Henard Elementary School.
Handicap parking will be available at the front entrance of Hardin Park.
The car club will offer a new 350 Chevy Crate engine as the grand prize.
Many door prizes and cash awards will be given throughout the day. Event t-shirts will also be available for purchase.
Concessions will be provided by the GHS Baseball Boosters, Sno-Biz and Creamy Cup.
