An employee of Takoma Regional Hospital reported being assaulted by the spouse of another employee while in the hospital parking lot Sunday night.
The woman reported to Greeneville Police Officer Josh Pierce that she had just parked her vehicle and was gathering her items for work when the incident occurred.
She reported that the offender, a female, opened her car door and began yelling at and threatening her.
The offender, whom she named, then punched her in the face.
Officer Pierce's report indicates that he spoke with the hospital's nursing supervisor about the incident.
The supervisor informed the officer that hospital administration would be made aware of the incident, and discussed issuance of a No Trespassing order.
The offender was told she was not allowed on the hospital's property, except to see her physician.
