Lauren Michelle Britt, 36, of 774 Oak Hills Road, was charged Monday with theft over $10,000 but less than $60,000, Greeneville police Detective Lt. Robert Vereecke said in a report.
Britt allegedly participated in a scam involving Bank of America, the report said.
The report said that $19,523 was deposited into Britt's bank account "from a victim's account" and Britt then withdrew $19,400 on the same day.
Britt was a passenger in a car pulled over Monday on Cherokee Boulevard. She was arrested on an outstanding warrant issued in connection with the theft charge.
Bond was set at $10,000 pending a first scheduled General Sessions Court appearance on Wednesday.
