An investigation continues into the death of a Kingsport woman in a one-vehicle crash about 5:25 p.m. Saturday on northbound Interstate 81, near the Fall Branch exit.
Donna Clark, 48, of Rockwood Street, died in the crash, investigating Tennessee Highway Patrol Trooper Paul Kilday said.
Witnesses said Clark's Jeep "was all over the roadway" before it veered off the side of I-81, overcorrected and spun around backward on grass near the median before "barrel rolling" several times, Kilday said.
Clark was not wearing a safety restraint and was ejected from the Jeep. She was pronounced dead at the scene, Kilday said.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Toxicology test results are pending, Kilday said.
