Wreaths Ceremony
Pays Somber Tribute

Sun photo by Kelly Pickering

U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Kim Henderson, at center, carries one of the seven wreaths that were placed near the top of the Andrew Johnson National Cemetery on Saturday during the Wreaths Across America event. Wreaths representing the U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Merchant Marine, and those who are Prisoners of War and Missing in Action were placed. The Greeneville and Greene County Junior ROTC programs formed an honor guard along the steps leading to the top of the hill.
