BOONE, N.C. – The Appalachian Summer Festival has announced that The Band Perry will perform on July 6 at Appalachian State University.

Sponsored by Blue Ridge Electric, the outdoor fireworks concert will be held at Kidd Brewer Stadium on Appalachian State’s campus at 7:30 p.m. Gates will open at 6:30 p.m.

The Chris Lane Band will open the show.

Additional shows in the series include an Independent Film Festival, July 7-29; Broyhill Chamber Ensemble, July 8-24; Tennessee Playboy, July 12-13; Idina Menzel with the Eastern Festival Orchestra, July 18; Boz Scaggs, July 20; the Eastern Festival Orchestra with Andre Watts, July 21; and Lyle Lovett and his acoustic group, July 27.
