Bourbon is our “featured” dog at the Greeneville-Greene County Humane Society and will remain our “featured” dog until he’s adopted.
We hope that one of The Greeneville Neighbor News readers will read Bourbon’s story and want to give him a home.
On April 22, Bourbon was brought to the Greeneville-Greene County Humane Society’s Adoption Center as a stray that had been found alongside a road.
Bourbon, who was in sad shape when he arrived, was also very hungry and in need of love and attention.
With the care of staff members and volunteers, we can now say he is a happy and healthy guy.
Because of his ready smile, cute ears, wrinkled brow and playful ways, he quickly became a favorite with everyone who met him.
Bourbon is a Sharpei-Shepherd mix. He has a coat of white, brown and black patches. His ears will perk up at anything that grabs his attention.
Bourbon is dog and cat friendly and loves to go for walks on the leash.
We think he would make a good running partner with a little training. He also loves to play fetch with his toys.
He is still a young fellow and weighs around 35lbs so not too big and not too small … a “just right” dog.
Bourbon has been completely vetted, which includes his neuter surgery, microchip, vaccinations and heartworm test. He is ready to be adopted and will make someone or some family the perfect dog.
Bourbon has a reduced adoption fee, too.
Come spend some time with Bourbon, we know he will make you smile.
We invite everyone to come visit Bourbon and our other adoptable dogs and cats at our adoption center.
Our Adoption Center is located at 950 Hal Henard Road. Our hours are Monday through Friday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m., and Saturdays, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
