Christmas Is 'Ruby Red'

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Recent voted a Top 20 Event by Southeast Tourism Society, Ruby Red Christmas has returned for its sixth year.

The attraction near Chattanooga is open Fridays and Saturdays, 5 - 9 p.m., in December.

Ruby Red Christmas includes carriage rides, acoustic music, apple cider and roundtrip Double Decker Bus rides from downtown Chattanooga.
The waterfall features holiday lighting.

Children may visit with Mr. and Mrs. Claus and listen to “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas.”

About Ruby Falls

Ruby Falls is America’s deepest commercial cave and largest underground waterfall open for public viewing.

It features a 145-foot waterfall, located 1,120 feet beneath the surface of Lookout Mountain, near Chattanooga.

LED lighting is used throughout the castle and waterfall.

Ruby Falls is the first U.S. attraction to receive the dual Green Globe/Green Certification by Green Globe International, Inc.

The destination is open every day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., with guided tours departing every few minutes.
