GREENEVILLE, Tenn. -- The Greeneville-Greene County Humane Society will host the 12th Annual HOWL-O-Ween Pet Costume Party this Saturday. The event will be held at the Animal Shelter, 950 Hal Henard Road.
HOWL-O-Ween will feature the pet costume contest, children’s games, door prizes and concessions, 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.
“Last year, 46 pets participated in the fun contest,” said spokeswoman Janet Medcalf.
“We invite adults and children to dress up their pets and bring them to the party. Humans can dress up, too.”
The pet contest starts at 1 p.m.
Beginning at 11 a.m., registration is $5 per animal.
Prizes, including the “coveted People’s Choice Award,” will be awarded to winning pet owners.
All proceeds will benefit projects of the Greeneville-Greene County Humane Society.
