FROM The Greeneville Neighbor News
This year’s Kiwanis Kapers will be held March 8 and 9. The theme is, “Lost Kapers in Space.”
A news release from the Kiwanis Club of Greeneville, sponsor of the annual production said, “The Kiwanis Club’s Kapers has long been a showcase for many of Greene County’s finest actors, actresses, dancers and singers. This year is no exception.
“The annual Kapers production provides an evening of fun and family entertainment for children and adults of all ages.
“Director John Lamons and his crew of merry men and women have been hard at work writing and casting skits, while the dancers have been ‘a-dancing’ and the chorus has been ‘a-singing.’”
The release said, tongue-in-cheek, “The director is especially excited about this year’s Kapers theme, owing to the fact that ‘The Kapers Kharacters’ have long been ‘lost’ in Greene County.”
The Kiwanis Kapers will be performed at Annie Hogan Byrd Auditorium at Tusculum College March 8 and 9 at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $10, available at Crestview Animal Hospital, Greeneville Federal Bank (main branch), The Greeneville Sun, Laughlin Memorial Hospital, Takoma Regional Hospital and the offices of Dr. John Lamons and Dr. Brad Strange.
Tickets will also be available at the door.
