The Niswonger Performing Arts Center (NPAC) will present “Marty Stuart & His Fabulous Superlatives” on March 23 at 7:30 pm.
Tickets are $30.00 for adults and $15 for students.
The 1,130-seat performing arts center is adjacent to the campus of Greeneville High School.
“Marty Stuart -- singer, songwriter and musician -- has a showman’s zest for every conceivable flavor of country music”, said Angie Wilson, managing director of the Niswonger Performing Arts Center.
“The four-time Grammy winner, platinum recording artist and Grand Ole Opry Star, now is the leader of the extraordinary, versatile touring and recording band, The Fabulous
Superlatives.”
The 54-year-old performer has charged singles on the U.S. country music chart in every decade since the 1980s. They include five Top 10 smashes -- “Hillbilly Rock,” “Little Things,” “Tempted,” “This One’s Gonna Hurt You,” and “The Whiskey Ain’t Workin’” (a collabaration with Randy Travis),
Stuart is married to and frequently collaborates with Connie Smith, a popular county music artist since the 1960s and a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame.
