JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. -- A big inflatable movie screen will show “Movies on Main” in downtown Jonesborough this summer.
The schedule includes family-friend films each Saturdays through Labor Day Weekend, sponsored by the Jonesborough Area Merchants & Services Association and the Lollipop Shop.
The series is free and open to the public, who may bring blankets and chairs.
The schedule includes Cars 2, Aug. 4; Bad News Bears, Aug. 11; Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Aug. 18; and Spy Kids, Sept. 1. Most films begin at 8:30 p.m.
Movie goers are encouraged to bring two canned food items as donations for Jonesborough’s local food bank. Food items may be dropped off at The Lollipop Shop.
