Depot Street was ablaze in bright lights for the Second Annual Snowball, a fundraiser for Main Street: Greeneville. A sold-out crowd of about 150 people attended the event, which was highlighted by festive decorations, good food and music by JB and the Wild Honey Band.
Main Street will use proceeds to promote the organization's economic development programs, downtown tours and other activities, said Jann Mirkov, executive director.
"We really encourage involvement from the public and private sectors to help maintain and sustain the downtown area that celebrates our heritage for the present and future,” she said.
Andy Daniels, head of Main Street’s board of directors, said she was pleased with response to the fun event.
The Snowball was held at the George R. Lane building in the heart of downtown Greeneville.
