Annotated Map Of The Area Mainly Involved With The Band Perry Concert
This annotated map of the downtown area was created by Brad Peters, director of the Greeneville Public Works Department.
The thick, near-vertical, dark-colored line at the center of the map is Main Street, with North Main at the top and the stage indicated by a line across the street. The shorter, horizontal extensions off the Main Street line are parts of Church and Depot Streets.
All of those areas are completely closed-off today in connection with the concert. The lighter-colored horizontal sections of Church and Depot are soft closure areas, with limited vehicle access for church members to be able to reach their churches, etc.
The symbols on the map for First Aid, toilets, food vendors (knife and fork in a circle), and handicapped parking are very familiar. The ICP box near the stage is the command post for emergency agencies.
The oval with LZ indicates a helicopter landing zone.
The boxes with the dollar symbol inside are booths where various kinds of merchandise will be available.
A Wheaties box near the intersection of Main and Church streets indicates the location of a booth for General Mills, the sponsor of the concert.
The i symbol, for Information, indicates the Greene County Partnership booth, which will be in the driveway of the Andrew Johnson Bank drive-through.
