Elementary Tournament Starts Saturday At South Greene

The county elementary basketball tournament is set to begin Saturday with eight games being played at South Greene High School.

The entire tournament will take place on Rebel Hill, concluding with the championship and consolation games on Friday.

Saturday's schedule is as follows.

GIRLS

No. 8 Glenwood vs. No. 9 Ottway at 10 a.m.

No. 4 Mosheim vs. No. 5 West Pines at 12:30 p.m.

No. 3 McDonald vs. No 6 Camp Creek at 3:00 p.m.

No. 2 DeBusk vs. No. 7 Baileyton at 5:30 p.m.

BOYS

No. 8 Nolachuckey vs. No. 9 Camp Creek at 11:15 a.m.

No. 4 DeBusk vs. No. 5 Ottway at 1:45 p.m.

No. 3 McDonald vs. No. 6 Glenwood at 4:15 p.m.

No. 2 Mosheim vs. No. 7 West Pines at 6:45 p.m.

There will be two games played Monday.

The No. 1 seed Nolachuckey girls will play the winner of Glenwood-Ottway at 3:30 p.m.

For the boys, No. 1 seed Baileyton will play the winner of Nolachuckey-Camp Creek at 4:45 p.m.
