Greene County Thanksgiving Tournament Comin' At Ya

The 6th Annual Greene County Thanksgiving basketball tip-off tournament is scheduled to begin tonight (Monday, Nov. 19, 2012) at Chuckey-Doak High School.

The event will feature eight boys’ and eight girls’ teams.

The opening round schedule is slated for Monday and Tuesday, with semifinal and losers’ bracket games on Friday, and championship and consolation games on Saturday.

The schedule for Monday, November 19 is as follows: North Greene girls vs. Tri-Cities Christian at 4 p.m.; North Greene boys vs. Tri-Cities Christian at 5:30 p.m.; South Greene girls vs. Sullivan East at 7 p.m.; South Greene boys vs. KACHEA at 8:30 p.m.

On Tuesday, November 20: Chuckey-Doak girls vs. Providence at 4 p.m.; Chuckey-Doak boys vs. Providence at 5:30 p.m.; West Greene girls vs. Cosby at 7 p.m.; West Greene boys vs. Cosby at 8:30 p.m.

Morristown East defeated Chuckey-Doak for last year’s girls title, while South Greene topped Chuckey-Doak for the boys crown.
