Greeneville Boys To Play In Hardee's Classic At Crockett

JONESBOROUGH - The Greeneville boys' basketball squad will help make up the eight-team field in the 2012 Hardee's Basketball Classic at David Crockett High School.

The tournament is set to get underway Tuesday, November 20, with four opening-round games, and continue on Friday and Saturday.

The Devils are scheduled to play Sullivan East at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. In other openers, Sullivan South takes on Unaka at 4 p.m., David Crockett plays Happy Valley at 7 p.m. and Unicoi caps the night with an 8:30 p.m. matchup with University High.

Two losers' bracket games will be played at 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Friday, while the winners' bracket games will be played at 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

The championship and three consolation games are set for Saturday, with the seventh-place game tipping things off at 4 p.m.

Each team is guaranteed exactly three games in the event.
