Greeneville National Wins 7-8 District 4 All-Star Tournament

The Greeneville National 7-8 year old All-Stars won the District 4 Championship on Monday by defeating Greeneville American 12-6 in Dandridge.

The National team used a big fourth inning to carry themselves to victory, scoring their limit of five runs to go up 12-4.

Greeneville National then held strong defensively in the fifth to limit Greeneville American to two runs to put the game out reach.

In the 7-8 age division, teams can only score five runs an inning so the six-run lead prevented Greeneville American from being able to mount a comeback with one inning remaining.

Brady Quillen led the Greeneville National offense, going a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate including a double. Kabett Brown also went 3-for-3 and Luke Myers went 2-for-2.
