ROGERSVILLE -- North Greene's baseball team knocked off Cherokee 10-3 in non-conference baseball action here Friday afternoon.

Sophomore Tyler Bailey picked up the win, going 5 2/3 innings and giving up one earned run while striking out eight and walking two. Zak Potter came on in the sixth to earn the save.

The Huskies led 5-3 after six innings, then put a five-spot on the board to gain some distance against the Chiefs.

Bailey also led the Huskies at the plate with three hits. Brett Bolton lined out two hits while Dalton Wright swatted a triple. Davis had three hits for Cherokee.

The Huskies are at home to Providence Academy on Tuesday, play a doubleheader at Claiborne on Thursday, then return home for a big conference showdown with University High on Friday.
