Members of the North Greene Huskies baseball team have been honored by the Tennessee Baseball Coaches Association and the Tennessee Baseball Report.
Pitcher Tyler Bailey was the only sophomore named to the second team All-State team by the TBCA. The TBCA does not list players by classification, but names all-state teams in one group that includes Class AAA, AA and A players.
Bailey, Brett Bolton and Zane Britton were named to the Tennessee Baseball Report Super Freshman-Sophomore Team.
The Tennessee Baseball Report also names a "two-way" team for players that excel at multiple positions, and Bailey and Zachary Britton were named to that squad. Bailey is a pitcher/shortstop/catcher, and Britton is a catcher/outfielder/pitcher.
