ROCK HILL, S.C. - Due to pending inclement weather in the region, the men's and women's quarterfinals of the 2012 Food Lion SAC Soccer Championship have been moved to Wednesday.
The Tusculum women will host Lincoln Memorial Wednesday in a match scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. at Pioneer Field, while the Tusculum men will be on the road at Mars Hill for a 7 p.m. match Wednesday evening.
The winners of Wednesday's matches will advance to the SAC Tournament quarterfinals, to be played Friday afternoon at Manchester Meadows in Rock Hill, S.C. The conference championship matches will be played Sunday afternoon in Rock Hill.
The Pioneer women are the third seed in the tournament and are hosting the sixth-seeded Railsplitters, while the Pioneer men are the eighth seed and will square off against the top-seeded Lions.
Admission prices for Wednesday's match at Pioneer Field are $6 for adults and $3 for children (ages 6-12), and $2 for college students. Fans showing the Food Lion MVP card can save $1 off the price of an adult ticket. The Tusculum athletic department will be providing the admission charge for Tusculum students, but they must show a valid TC ID to be admitted. No other passes or rates will be honored for admission to Wednesday's game.
