For those looking for a way to way to enjoy their post-Turkey Day feasts, the annual Greene County Thanksgiving Tip-Off Classic will get cranked back up tomorrow morning at Chuckey-Doak High School.
After two jam-packed days of opening round action earlier this week, the semifinal contests have been set, and they are the same for both the girls' and boys' brackets.
In an all-county matchup, the North Greene and South Greene girls will square off at 4 p.m. Immediately following, at 5:30 p.m., the boys' teams from the same two schools will meet up.
Later in the evening, Chuckey-Doak will play semifinal games against Cosby - the girls' contest is at 7 p.m. and the boys at 8:30 p.m.
Before the semifinal contests tomorrow, there will be four losers' bracket games played.
The girls' teams from Tri-Cities Christian and Sullivan East will start the day with a 10 a.m. contest. The TCC boys' and KACHEA will play at 11:30 a.m., followed by West Greene vs. Providence Girls at 1 p.m. and West Greene vs. Providence boys at 2:30 p.m.
The tournament has another full state of games scheduled for Saturday, beginning with the seventh-place girls game at 10 a.m. and concluding with the boys' championship game at 8:30 p.m.
