Takoma Adds Medical Staff

Takoma Regional Hospital has announced the addition of several new medical staff members.

Randall "Blake" Bible has joined Takoma Medical Associates as a family nurse practitioner.

Bible is working with Dr. Robert Locklear and Margeaux Clements, also a family nurse practitioner, in their internal medical practice.

Bible, with 15 years of medical experience, received his master's degree as a family nurse practitioner from Carson Newman College.

Valerie Mullins is a physician's assistant with Dr. Daniel Lewis in Family Medicine at TMA.

Mullins graduated from South College in Knoxville with a master's degree in physician assistant studies. She received her bachelor's degree in biology and pre-med from Tusculum College.

James Kilmer is a nurse practitioner with Drs. Candi Overholt and Katie Gray in internal medicine at Takoma.

Kilmer graduated from the Decker School of Nursing, Binghamton University, in Binghamton, N.Y., with a master's degree in family nurse practitioner. He also received a bachelor's degree in nursing from Decker School.

He has worked as a nurse since 1994 and a nurse practitioner since 2008.

Chris Fleming is a physician's assistant with Dr. Stephen Purvis, working in orthopedics at Takoma.

Fleming graduated from Jefferson College of Health Sciences in Roanoke, Va., with a bachelor's degree in physician assistant studies. He received his undergraduate degree from Mountain Empire Community College in Big Stone Gap, Va.

Fleming served on active duty as a medic in the Army. He has 14 years of healthcare experience, seven of which have been as a certified physician assistant.

Fleming currently serves as adjunct clinical faculty member for Jefferson College of Health Sciences, Lincoln Memorial University and South College physician assistant's programs.
