Anna Mae Loftis

Anna Mae Loftis, 80, of Bailey Street in Baileyton, died unexpectedly Tuesday morning at her home.
Mrs. Loftis and her husband operated Loftis Grocery on Old Baileyton Road for a "many" years.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Baileyton.
Mrs. Loftis was a "faithful" member of Baileyton Chapter No. 319. Order of Eastern Star, where she served as past worthy matron.
"She was loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a devout Christian and had a strong faith," her family stated.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years: Marvin Loftis; one daughter and son-in-law: Patsy and George Barham of Baileyton; one son and daughter-in-law: Larry and Marsha Loftis of Baileyton; two grandsons: Brad Loftis of Baileyton and Garth Barham and his wife, Amy, of Douglasville, Ga.; four sisters and two brothers-in-law: Bell Harmon, Frances Brown, Ruth and Bud Cooter, and Dorothy and Carl Bailey, all of Greene County; one brother: Jimmy Jones of Greene County; and several nieces and nephews.
She was a daughter of the late Jim and Anna Sue (Carter) Jones and was preceded in death by one sister: Mabel Brotherton; and two brothers: Leroy Jones and Howard Jones.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. today at Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Jerry Hall will officiate.
Interment will follow in Zion Cemetery at Baileyton.
Pallbearers will be Pete Burns, Kevin Pierce, Howard Lamb, Lindy Collins, Jonathan Jones, David Matthews, and John Rierson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Harold Smith, her friends of First Baptist Church of Baileyton, and the members of Baileyton Chapter No. 319, OES.
