KNOXVILLE -- Patricia Ann (Spooks Ray) Ricker, 61, of Chuckey, died Tuesday.

"Her family stated, "She went to be with Jesus after a hard-fought battle with cancer.

She was a daughter of the late Eula Vee Ray Ridenour and the late Lillard Ray.

Survivors include her husband: Jacob "J.D." Ricker ; three daughters and sons-in-law: Sondra and Tim Hannah, Tammy and Jacky Adams, and Karen and Mack Thornburg; two sons and daughters-in-law: David and Lisa Ricker and Dennis and Michelle Ricker; 17 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law: Charlotte and Rev. John Ridenour, Sr.; a brother and sister-in-law: Jimmy and Caroline Ray; a sister-in-law: Jenny Painter; a special niece: Nikki Carr; a special great-nephew: Blake Carr; several nieces and nephews; her extended family: Helen Ricker, Art and Janice Love, Kathy and Allen Davis, Ruth Palmer, and Floyd and Gayle Blackwell; a special close friend: Elva Tyree; and a number of other close friends, including: Teresa Johnson and Brittney Masters.

She was preceded in death by her stepfather, the Rev. Wade C. Ridenour; a sister, Dianna Palmer; and a brother, Jack Painter.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Bridges Funeral Home, 5430 Rutledge Pike in Knoxville.

The funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Saturday morning in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. David Cloud will officiate.

Interment will follow in Luttrell Cemetery.

Her grandsons will be pallbearers.

Her sons-in-law will be honorary pallbearers.
