Irene Morelock Guenther

Irene Morelock Guenther, 74, of Butler Township in Dayton, Ohio, formerly of the Pilot Knob community in Greene County, died Thursday, May 1.
She was a daughter of the late Herman and Alta (Knight) Morelock, and was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother, all of Greene County.
Mrs. Guenther was a 1952 graduate of the former Ottway High School in Greene County.
She retired from H.B. Fuller after 20 years of service.
Mrs. Guenther was a former member of Englewood United Methodist Church, where she was active playing piano and organ, teaching and helping with Bible school.
Her family stated, "Irene was a loving wife and mother. She enjoyed gardening, watching the Cincinnati Reds and playing with her Golden Retrievers."
She is survived by her husband of 51 years: Raymond Guenther; two sons: Eric Guenther of Hubert Heights, Ohio, and Alan Guenther of Dayton, Ohio; and nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
The funeral service was held at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon, May 4, at Kindred Funeral Home in Englewood, Ohio.
Interment will be private.
