Margaret E. Woods, 64, of Mosheim, died Tuesday afternoon at her home after an extended battle with lung and heart disease.

Her family stated, "She was a loving mother, mentor, and friend. 'Momma' lived her life primarily to take care of her family, then took care of others doing private care. She also did factory work.

"Momma has gone to be with the Lord. She was much loved by her family and friends and all that knew her."

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law: Alice and Roger Pinyan and Shirley and Michael Morgan, all of Mosheim; the father of her daughters: Earl B. Woods of Mosheim; six grandchildren: Michael Pinyan, Clara Ragon, Guy "Slick" Ritchie, Bradley "Scooter" Ritchie, and Shayla Ritchie, and a special granddaughter, Jennifer Shook; two special great-grandchildren: Zane Shook and Leah Shook; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Morgan "Butch" and Faye Conrad of Youngstown, Ohio, and Larry and Darlinda Conrad of Grassaway, W.Va.; and a very special friend and her husband: Judy and George Wrenn of Greeneville.

She was preceded in death by a daughter: Sherry Melinda Woods; her parents: John and Alice Conrad; and a brother: Jack Hamon.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Mosheim Chapel of Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 1 o'clock Saturday afternoon in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Ronnie Pinyan will officiate.

Interment will follow in Old Mountain Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Roger Pinyan, Michael Pinyan, Bradley Ritchie, Michael Morgan, Guy Ritchie, and Neal Brockwell.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. James Rodgers and "all that knew and loved her."
