Died: May 15, 2008

Gwen Stanton Klepper, 60, of the Woodlawn Community, died Thursday at Laughlin Memorial Hospital.

She was a member of Romeo United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Klepper's family stated:

"She loved the outdoors and caring for the farm animals as long as her health permitted. She enjoyed studying the word of God, sharing conversation, and creating memories with her family and friends.

"Her special dog 'Suzy' brought great joy and companionship."

Survivors include: her husband: Allen Klepper; a daughter and son-in-law: Debbie and Roger Andes of Rheatown; three sons and a daughter-in-law: Dewayne Stanton of the Woodlawn Community, Mark and Cindy Klepper of the Woodlawn Community, and Michael Klepper; her mother: Veva Ramsey of Chuckey; five grandchildren: Luwana Scott, James Shoemaker, Josh Andes, Kenny Cable, and Cody Shoemaker: one great-grandchild: Christyana Andes; five sisters and brothers-in-law: Iva Shelton of Cookeville, Wilma Strong of Chuckey, Shelby and Jerry "Popsicle" Fillers of Chuckey, Lou Ann and Zahn Hogan of Afton, and Richard and Darlene Baskette of Clearsprings; and a special friend of the family: Star Hazeltine.

She was preceded in death by her father, Oliver Ward Ramsey.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4-7 p.m. at Jeffers Mortuary.

The funeral service will be Sunday at 7 p.m. at Jeffers Mortuary Chapel. The Rev. Doug Jennings will officiate.

A graveside service will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Price Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be James Shoemaker, Cody Shoemaker, David Shelton, Aldon Shelton, Ryan Baskette, Larry Gray, Louis Klepper, Charles Klepper, and Clayton Rice.
