Vicki Lynne Hudgins

STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. -- Vicki Lynne Hudgins, 38, of Dalton, died June 18.

Her family noted, "She went home to her Lord and Savior. She was a loving wife and joyful mother."

She is survived in Greene County, Tenn., by her mother, Ann Hubbard of Chuckey; her father, Richard Hubbard of Greeneville; her brother and sister-in-law, Richard Darren and Deborah Hubbard, and their two children, Hannah Mae Hubbard and Jamie Leann Hubbard, all of Chuckey.

Additional survivors include her husband of 16 years: Lynn Douglas Hudgins Jr.; a son: Nathaniel Perrin "Nate" Hudgins; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Lynn Douglas Hudgins Sr., and Linda L. Hudgins of Salem, S.C.

In accordance with Mrs. Hudgins wishes, a memorial service, to give family and friends an opportunity to honor her, will be held at 11 o'clock Saturday morning at First Presbyterian Church in Dalton.

Her family state, "Vicki would deeply appreciate donations to be made to one of the following organizations in her memory: First Presbyterian Church, 510 S. Tibbs Road, Dalton, GA 30720; to Thornwell Home for Children, P.O. Box 60, Clinton, S.C. 29325; or to Georgia Mountain Hospice, 70 Caring Way, Jasper, GA 30143."
