Crystal Gunter Riddle

Died: Sept. 15, 2008

Crystal Jacquelline Gunter Riddle, 34, of Greenville, N.C., formerly of Greeneville, died unexpectedly Monday at her home.

She was a licensed practical nurse at Craman Correctional Facility.

Ms. Riddle was a 1992 graduate of South Greene High School and received a LPN degree from Walters State Community College in 2005.

"She was a loving and devoted mom, daughter, sister, granddaughter and friend," her family stated.

Survivors include two sons: Schuyler Roberts and Lucas Riddle, both of GreeneCounty; her mother: Mary Ramsey; a brother: Jonathan Gunter; her grandparents: Bonnie Gunter, Mary L. Arrington, Wilma Ramsey and Duck Arrington, all of Greene County; two nieces: Brianna Gunter and Jaden Gunter; a nephew: Sydney Gunter; her special aunts and uncles: McKinley and Shirley Ramsey of Greene County, Bobby Ramsey of Greeneville, Geraldine and Buster Johnson of Greene County, Linda Ramsey of Mosheim, and Tonya Hensley and Lynn and Jamie Gunter, all of Greene County; several great-aunts and great-uncles; her special cousins: Heather Stokley, Bobby Lynn Collins, A.J. Dean, Amber Dean, Lacy Dean, Lisa Grace Gunter,  Brandon Ramsey, Jayden Johnson, Andrew Johnson, Mary Ellen Johnson, Angie Ramsey, Marty Ramsey, Jeffery Fillers, Melissa Johnson, and Adam Johnson; and special friends: Jim Looney, Mike Roberts, Denise Ellison, Sandra Davis, Brad Riddle, Ellen Shelton, Jill Duncan, Robert Mugler, Allen Mercer, and Tommy Bullard.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jackie Gunter, and grandfather, Hubert Ramsey.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Lynn Mercer and the Rev. Ray Dean Mysinger will officiate.

Interment will follow in Price's Cemetery in the White Sands community.

Pallbearers will be Mike Roberts, Sammy Stokley, Jonathan Gunter, Buster Johnson, Lee Lemar, and Mike Fillers.
