Mary Nelle Lane

Mary Nelle Lane, 92, of Greeneville, died Tuesday evening at Laughlin Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Lane was a retired legal secretary.
She was a member of Mount Hebron United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Lane was a very active member of Greeneville Chapter No. 223, Order of the Eastern Star.
She was a graduate of Greeneville High School, attended Tusculum College, and graduated from the former Greeneville Business School.
Mrs. Lane was the first secretary of the Greeneville Civil Service Board.
She was the widow of Earl Lane.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Jean Lane and Dr. Kenneth Susong; her daughter-in-law: Gena Lane; four granddaughters and their husbands: Libby and Mike Helle, Becca and Mike Gosnell, Martha and Mike Bender, and Sandra and Rick Smith; seven great-grandchildren: Nicholas Helle, Paul Helle and his wife, Michelle, Ty Gosnell, Aryn Gosnell, Adam Bender, Angela Bender, and Sarah Smith; one great-great grandson: Brayden Helle; a sister-in-law: Audrey Blevins of San Diego, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews, including a special nephew: Mark Blevins.
She was a daughter of the late John and Grace Stanton Blevins and was preceded in death by a son: Jack Lane; four brothers: Ralph Blevins, Donald Blevins, Jack Blevins, and Nathan Blevins; and one sister: Louise Blevins.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will follow visitation at 1 o'clock in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Steve Tuck will officiate.
Interment will be in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Mark Blevins, Mike Blevins, Marty Blevins, Mike Helle, Nicholas Helle, Mike Gosnell, Ty Gosnell, Mike Bender, Adam Bender, and Rick Smith.
Honorary pallbearers will be the members of Mount Hebron UM Church, her neighbors, her friends, Dr. James Rodgers, Dr. Kenneth Susong, Dr. Thomas Beckner, and Dr. Rodney Holladay.
