Died: Dec. 24, 2008

Donald Guy Eidson, 75, of Price Lane, Greeneville, died Wednesday at his home.

He was a retired iron worker.

Survivors included his wife: Geneva Eidson, one daughter: Donna Marshall of Greeneville; three stepsons: Monty Hale of Greeneville, and Jack Hale and David Hale, both of Jonesborough; his grandchildren and their spouses: Misty and Tony Arwood, Mikey and Miranda Calhoun, Donnie and Debbie Harr, and Jason and Patty Harr, all of Greeneville, Jonathan and Tammy Griffith of Ohio, Donald Eidson of South Carolina, Willie Morales of Texas, and Christopher Cutcher, Brandi Eidson and Bobby Eidson, all of Kingsport; several great grandchildren; and a brother and sister-in-law: Carson and Louise Eidson of Baileyton.

He was the son of the late William and Till Smith Eidson and was preceded in death by a former wife, Ruby Cutcher; four children: Kathy Langston, Samuel Eidson, Lesa Morales and Dennis Eidson; several brothers and a sister.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to noon Sunday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home preceding the graveside service at 1 p.m. at North Fork Cemetery in Church Hill.

Family and friends will be pallbearers.
