Helen Mary Johnson, 84, of Woodlawn Drive, died Sunday at her home.

She was retired from MECO Corp.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law: Carolyn and Tommy Norton; five grandchildren and their spouses: Edward Sams, Angie and Billy Joe Bowman, Cristy Arwood, Crystal Stills, and Elvis and Renee Norton; her great-grandchildren: Tony Arwood II, Billy Joe Bowman II, Katlyn Stills, Justin Stills, Suhmer Burris, Haley Stewart, and Trent Bowman; several nieces and nephews, including a special nephew and his wife: William and Susie Brooks; special friends: Michael Stewart and Nancy Barboza and her children; and a dear friend and neighbor: Jackie Everhart.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Zeke W. and Emma E. Foulks; two sisters: Lucille Boles and Josephine Brooks; and one brother: James Foulks.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon in the funeral home chapel with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery on Snapps Ferry Road. The Rev. Joshua Gladson will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Steven Foulks, William Brooks, Billy Joe Bowman, Billy Valentine, Tyler Setser, and Mike Stewart.

Lloyd Norton will be an honorary pallbearer.
