Richard Allan "Rick" Zdaniewicz, 47, of Pinecrest Court West, Greeneville, died Sunday at Laughlin Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Zdaniewicz was in the restaurant business.
He was a member of Notre Dame Catholic Church.
Mr. Zdaniewicz was inducted into the Greeneville Wrestling Hall of Fame and the Johnson City Wrestling Hall of Fame.
He was a son of the late Alphonse J. and Antoinette "Mama Zee" Zdaniewicz.
Survivors include one son: Brian Stills of Greeneville; a sister and brother-in-law: Susan M. and Danny R. Collins of Greeneville; a brother and sister-in-law: Joseph F. and Sue Zdaniewicz of Chesterfield, Mass.; a sister-in-law: Nancy Zdaniewicz of Greeneville; his special nieces and nephews: Stefania Collins and Dustin Collins, both of St. Meinrad, Ind., Tom Zdaniewicz, Mark Zdaniewicz, William J. Zdaniewicz Jr. and his wife, Kristine, and Betsy Colson, all Chesterfield, Mass., Todd Harmon of Greeneville, Kara Knott of Thornton, Colo., and Tamara Sue Zdaniewicz of Sarasota, Fla.; a very special friend: Sandra Ealey of Greeneville, whom the family stated was "like a daughter to him"; and his special friends: Donna and David Masters and Jeffrey Stills, all of Greeneville.
He was preceded in death by a son: William A. Zdaniewicz; and two brothers: Robert P. Zdaniewicz and William J. Zdaniewicz.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Notre Dame Catholic Church with a rosary to follow at 8 o'clock.
A funeral mass will be held at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning at the church. The Rev. John Appiah will officiate.
Interment will follow in GraceLand Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Susan M. Collins, Joseph F. Zdaniewicz, William J. Zdaniewicz Jr., Todd Harmon, David Masters, Jeffrey Stills, Craig Gobble, and Danny Collins.
Honorary pallbearers will be "all his wrestling buddies."
Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
