Tillman Ray 'Junior' Ward Jr.

Died: Nov. 6, 2009

Tillman Ray "Junior" Ward Jr., of Fall Branch, died Friday at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport.

Mr. Ward retired from Southern Casting.

He was a son of the late Juanita (Compton) and Tillman Ray Ward Sr.

Survivors include his son: T.R. Ward of Virginia; his companion: Elizabeth Mooney; a brother: Jeff Ward; two nieces: Amber Ward and Brandy Ward; a special aunt: Bernice Compton; a sister-in-law: Stella M. Ward; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; his special friends: Rick and Jeanette Davis; his special friends and caregivers: Jeff Ford and Tim "Yippy" Dockery; and a special friend of the family: Vicky Bowen, Jeff Ward's fiancée.

He was preceded in death by two brothers: Gale Ward and Charles C. Ward.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at Pine Grove Free Will Baptist Church.

The funeral service will be held at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the church. The Rev. Wayne Waycaster will officiate.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Tim "Yippy" Dockery, Jeff Ford, Ernie Crawford, Jerry Light, Jamie Painter, Rick Davis, and Jeff Morelock.
