Rebecca Sue "Becky" Harmon Stapleton, 46, of Johnson City,
formerly of Greeneville, died Wednesday at the Johnson City Medical
Center.
Mrs. Stapleton was a member of Hardin's Chapel United Methodist
Church.
Survivors include her husband: Junior Stapleton; two sons:
Darrell Stapleton and T.J. Stapleton; a daughter: Nikita Stapleton; her grandchildren: Cheyenne
Stapleton, Madison Franklin, Nevaeh Franklin, and Ethan Franklin; her brothers and sisters-in-law:
Arnold and Peggy Harmon, David and Mary Harmon, and Vickie Harmon Dougherty, all of Greeneville, and Don and Janet Harmon of
Mosheim; her sisters and a brother-in-law: Geraldine and Wayne Shanks of Kingsport, Mrs. Harold
(Marie) Cox and Debbie Cheek, both of Greeneville, and Rhonda Harmon of Elizabethton; four
half-sisters and their husbands: Eleanor Paunovich, Joan and J.R. Billings, Nancy Carolyn and
Wallace Tate, and Barbara Hart; several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles; and a special friend:
Shane Aiken.
She was a daughter of the late Taylor and Vivian Harmon; and
was preceded in death by a brother, Terry Harmon.
The family will receive
friends from 4-7 p.m. today at Jeffers Funeral & Cremation
Service.
The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon
in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Lewis Kizer will
officiate.
Interment will follow in Hardin's Chapel
Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be James Harmon, Nicholas Harmon, Justin
Harmon, Michael Hoard, Michael Hoard Jr., and Shawn Cheek.
