David "Dee" Fletcher

Died: April 15, 2010

David Lynott "Dee" Fletcher, 29, of Mosheim died unexpectedly Thursday.

Mr. Fletcher was a member of Brown Springs Baptist Church.

He was a 1998 graduate of West Greene High School.

His family stated, "Dee enjoyed spending time with his son, Eli, and all of his family. Dee had a passion for music and enjoyed deejaying various events."

Survivors include his son: Elijah Fletcher of Mosheim; his parents: James and Marcheta Hensley of Mosheim; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Uriah and Amanda Fletcher of Mountain City and Joshua "J" and Nikki Fletcher of Midway; his grandparents: Eugene and Mary Alice Taylor of Parrottsville and Jean Fletcher of the Southside community; one special niece: Hannah Fletcher of Mountain City; two special nephews: Jayden Fletcher of Midway and Isaiah Fletcher of Mountain City; two special aunts: Juretta Gregg of Parrottsville and Glenda Hensley of Florida; five special uncles: Robert Taylor of Florida, Walley Hensley of Baileyton, Earl Fletcher Jr. of Mosheim, and Kenny Fletcher and Joe Fletcher, both of Greeneville; numerous cousins; and two special friends: Jessica Fields and Corrin Nicholas, both of Greene County.

He was preceded in death by his biological father: David Fletcher; and his grandparents: Earl Fletcher Sr., and Johnny and Iula Hensley.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon at Brown Springs Baptist Church. The Rev. Richard Long will be officiate.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will include Todd Campbell, Peter Jenkins, Chris Jenkins, Craig Farmer, Chris Hinkle, Shawn Maynard, Mark Turner, John Gass, and Jaymin Arnold.
