Died: Aug. 13, 2010

BRISTOL -- H. Jackson Campbell Jr., 52, of Concord, N.C., formerly of Bristol, died Friday at his home.

Mr. Campbell was a grandson of A.W. Campbell of Greeneville.

He was born June 17, 1958, in Bristol, and was a son of Mary Ellen Wheeler Campbell and the late Herbert "Bud" Campbell Sr.

Mr. Campbell had lived in the Bristol area most of his life prior to moving to Concord four years ago.

He was one of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Survivors, in addition to his mother and grandfather, include his wife: Beth McCamey Campbell; his brother and sister-in-law: Tony and Robbie Campbell; his nephew: Robert Campbell; three nieces: Kristin Campbell, Hannah Rose Campbell, and Hannah Burchett; his special father-in-law and mother-in-law: Edward and Jean McCamey; his special brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and a number of "beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and friends."

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at Weaver Funeral Home in Bristol.

The funeral service will follow visitation at 8 o'clock in the funeral home chapel. Edward McCamey and Paul Schulz, ministers, will officiate.

A committal service will be held at 11 o'clock Tuesday morning in Crumley Cemetery.

Condolences may be sent to the Campbell family online at http://www.weaverfuneralhome.net.
