H. Jackson Campbell, Jr.
Died: Aug. 13, 2010
BRISTOL -- H. Jackson Campbell Jr.,
52, of Concord, N.C., formerly of Bristol, died Friday at his home.
Mr. Campbell was a grandson of A.W. Campbell of Greeneville.
He was born June 17, 1958, in Bristol, and was a son of Mary Ellen Wheeler Campbell and
the late Herbert "Bud" Campbell Sr.
Mr. Campbell had lived in the
Bristol area most of his life prior to moving to Concord four years ago.
He was one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Survivors, in addition
to his mother and grandfather, include his wife: Beth McCamey Campbell; his brother and
sister-in-law: Tony and Robbie Campbell; his nephew: Robert Campbell; three nieces: Kristin
Campbell, Hannah Rose Campbell, and Hannah Burchett; his special father-in-law and mother-in-law:
Edward and Jean McCamey; his special brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and a number of "beloved
aunts, uncles, cousins and friends."
The family will receive friends
from 6-8 p.m. today at Weaver Funeral Home in Bristol.
The funeral
service will follow visitation at 8 o'clock in the funeral home chapel. Edward McCamey and Paul
Schulz, ministers, will officiate.
A committal service will be held at
11 o'clock Tuesday morning in Crumley Cemetery.
