Travis Lee Manuel

Died: June 11, 2011

Travis Lee Manuel, age 55, of Greeneville, died Saturday afternoon at his home.

Mr. Manuel was a member of Tabernacle Presbyterian Church.

He was also involved in the Multicultural Association, Christian Motorcycle Club and the Wesley's Cemetery Graveyard Committee.

Mr. Manuel is survived by his wife: Victoria Manuel of Greeneville; four sons and wives: Lamont Treece of Morristown, Travis Lee Manuel Jr. and Onoriode Manuel, Troy Anthony and Shamira Manuel, and Terrance Manuel, all of Greeneville; two grandchildren: Lilly Manuel and Troy Manuel Jr., both of Greeneville; two sisters and one brother-in-law: Juanita Taylor of Detroit, Mich., and Anna and Paul Aiken of Mount Pleasant, Mich.; one sister-in-law: Jerleen Manuel of Greeneville; and several aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Bertha and Jesse Manuel Sr.; and three brothers: Jesse Manuel Jr., Charles Manuel, and Grover Manuel.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. C.C. Mills Jr. and the Rev. Clarene Anderson will officiate.

Interment will follow in Wesley's Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Vernon Manuel, Tim Davis, Brian Manuel, Walter Manuel, Ashlynn Manuel, Shontrell Manuel, and Deon Jackson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Danny McAffrey, Walter Stokely, Jamar Stokely, Watson Manuel, Dale Arnette, Ronnie Arnold, Leon Carson, Gene Maddox, and Damon Duty.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
