Betty Leliah Brown Roberts, 80, of Greeneville, formerly of the South Greene community, passed away Tuesday at Laughlin HealthCare Center.
Survivors include her children: Gail Wilson and husband, Ira, of Jefferson City, William "Billy" and Diane Holder of Burnsville, N.C., and Della Ruth King and Kenny; her grandchildren: Travis, Mystyckle, Stephanie, Mandy, and Kelly; her great-grandchildren: Dillon, Mason, Jade, Sarah, Brienna, Sydney, Kaitlyn, Hunter and Madison; three sisters and a brother-in-law: Ruby Jean Mills of Dandridge, Beulah Mae and Bill Bowers, and Dorothy Roberts of Newport; and many special friends.
She was the daughter of the late Charles Emmett and Rutha Price Brown and was preceded in death by her husband: Oscar Blaine "O.B." Roberts; three brothers: Ray Walter, Lee Roe "Buck", and Roy D. Brown; and one sister: Edith Brown Ball.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home with the funeral service following at 8 p.m. in the chapel. The Rev. Jerry Williams will officiate.
Family and friends will meet at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home to go in procession to GreeneLawn Memory Gardens for an 11 a.m. committal service.
After the committal, family and friends will meet at God's Church in the meeting room for a celebration of Betty's life.
