Died: Oct. 8, 2012

Donnie T. Swatzell, 54, of Vicky Street, Greeneville, passed away Monday at his home.

He was a construction worker.

Mr. Swatzell was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his mother: Fannie Swatzell; two daughters and a son-in-law: Daphne Widener and Denise and Eric "Bubba" Rader; five grandchildren: Bobby Young, Maggie Justis, Evie Rader, Zeke Rader, and Nash Rader; his grandmother: Anna Fillers of Mosheim; an aunt: Lucille Swatzell; several close friends, including three longtime friends: Bill Shipley, Jimmy Willett, and Connie Whitson.

He was preceded in death by his father, W.D. Swatzell, and a son-in-law, Brad Widener.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home with the funeral service following at 8 p.m. in the chapel. The Rev. Allen Black will officiate.

The body will be cremated following the service.
