Died: Oct. 9, 2012

Teresa L. Harmon Hoard, 43, of the Hardins Chapel community, passed away Tuesday at the Johnson City Medical Center.

She was a member of Romeo United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband: Mike L. Hoard; five daughters and a son-in-law: Tabatha and Steven Franklin of the St. James community, Makayla Hoard, Terry Hoard, Megan Hoard, and Tashina Hoard; a son: Michael Hoard Jr.; a granddaughter: Emmaline Franklin; her parents: Arnold and Peggy Harmon, a brother and sister-in-law: James and Kenya Harmon, a sister and brother-in-law: Tina and Mike Jones, and her mother-in-law: Cora Hoard, all of Hardins Chapel; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Ronnie and Kathy Hoard; her special friends: the members of Grace Lamplighters Group and Jeff and Judy Johnson; her nieces: Katesha Harmon, Natausha Harmon, and Candle Harmon; and her nephews: Cody Ottinger, Justin Harmon, Nicholas Harmon, and Kevin Jones.

She was preceded in death by a sister: Tammy Harmon; and her father-in-law: Leonard Hoard.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. today at Jeffers Funeral & Cremation Service at Afton.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel with interment in Hardins Chapel Cemetery. The Rev. Doug Jennings, the Rev. Norman Wilhoit, and the Rev. Dwayne Casteel will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Robbie Price, Heth Seaton, Steven Franklin, Kevin Jones, and Justin and Nicholas Harmon.
