Died: Oct. 10, 2012

Frank B. Cook, Jr., 75, of Jennings Lane, Greeneville, passed away Wednesday at his home.

Mr. Cook was a retired truck driver for Greene County Solid Waste.

He enjoyed spending time outside and caring for his two loving pets, Pepper and Ted.

Survivors include his special friend: Rebecca Hawkins of Afton; his special caregiver: Rebecca Goode and her family, whom he considered his grandchildren: Chelsey Walker, Madison Hensley, and Jaxson Goode, and nephew: Trenton Helso; many other special friends; his sisters and brothers: Catherine Brasure of Willards, Md., Molly Cook-Wycoff and Bud of Deptford, N.J., Debbie and Robert Hardy of Greenwood, Del., Michael and Pam Cook of Milton, Del., Richard and Sharon Cook of Mobile, Ala., and Daniel and Sherri Cook of Milton; a sister-in-law: Helen Cook of Pittsville, Md., and a special nephew and wife: Charles and June Jefferson of Lancaster, Pa.

He was the son of the late Frank Buchanan Cook and Ethel Marvel Cook and was preceded in death by his wife: Naomi Cook; a son: Keith Cook; two brothers: Robert Cook and Gene A. Cook; and a sister: Mildred Cook Brittingham and her husband, Frank.

The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home with the funeral service following at 2 p.m. in the chapel The Rev. Dr. Jim Fields will officiate.

Interment will be in River Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Dr. E.B. Smith, Benjamin Smith, Eddie Parkins, Don Banks, Charles Jefferson, and Spencer Smith.

Honorary pallbearers will be the nurses and staff of Caris Hospice and Judy Robinson.
