Gladys Mae Tanner

Died: Oct. 31, 2012

Gladys Mae Tanner, 88, of the 107 Cutoff, Greeneville, passed away Wednesday at Laughlin Memorial Hospital.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend and will be dearly missed.

Survivors include two sons: Raymond and MaryAnn Tanner of Greeneville and Alfred and Jeanne Tanner of Greensboro, N.C.; five daughters: Frances Tucker of Green Valley, Ariz., Sharon Tanner of Greeneville, Barbara Colletti of Tucson, Ariz., and Laurie Tanner and Karen and Richard Hoole of Utica, N.Y.; a sister: Irene Boots of Cornwall Island, Ontario, Canada, and Mary Shaw of Wilmington, Pa.; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Alfred Tanner, who died in 1967; a sister; and four brothers.

A graveside service will be held in New York at a later date.
