Died: Oct. 28, 2012

Carrie Ann Johnson, 70, of Greeneville, passed away Sunday at her home.

Her family noted, "She wanted to give special thanks to her girls at Short Stay for taking such good care of her."

Survivors include her children: George Allen Watkins and Pamela Nelson and her husband, Mike Willis, all of Indiana; three grandchildren: Gerald Turney, and Jessica and Latisha Watkins; five great-grandchildren; her two best friends: Kathy Riddle and Lunell Hensley; and her sisters: Verna Burnett and Barb Ditsler, both of Indian, who were more like very best friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father: Viola and Gerald Richey; a sister and brother-in-law: Benice and Glen Warden; a brother and sister-in-law: Chuck and Mary Richey; and her husband, Kenneth Johnson, who passed away April 20, 2012.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Jeffers Funeral & Cremation Service, downtown, with interment to follow at 1:30 in Price's Cemetery in the White Sands community. Pastor Wayne Riddle will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jeffers Funeral Services to help defray funeral expenses.
