Kevin C. Barner, 43, of Greeneville, died Friday in Chattanooga.
He was an employee of TVA.
Survivors include his wife: Lisa Barner; his children: Allison "Sluppie" Barner and Jessica Studstill and husband, Devin Studstill; a granddaughter: Madison Studstill; his parents: Billy Mack and Anna Barner; his brothers: Randy Barner, Keith Miller, and Jerome Arnett; a sister: Cheryl Ryans; his grandmother: Willie Kate Barner; his nieces and nephews: Matt Smith, Becky Smith, Rachel Barner, Candice Barner, Jamison Miller, Yvonne Hamilton, Carlos Arnett, Rachel Arnett, Sequoia Humphreys, and Gabriel Story; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Donnie Wills, Kim Underwood, Lavanna Thomas, Nina Anderson, Ronnie Ryans, and Robin Arnett; a special goddaughter: K.K. Hamilton and brother, Donavan Barner, (they are of special mention to Kevin and his family); and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: James Barner and William and Josephine Eason; and his favorite aunt: Media Ruth Arnett.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with interment in Pruitt Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Rochelle Maxwell and the Rev. Charles Hawkins will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Barnes, Mike Carter, Stephen Crum, Kenneth Guinn, Eddie Harmon, Jerry "Pig" Sauceman, Jerome Arnett, and Allen Barner.
Honorary pallbearers will be James "Corny" Miller, Ronnie Dabbs, Michael "Hambone" Hamilton, Rodney Merriweather, Calvin Barner, Chuck Rader, Marty Story, Charlie Southerland, and all his friends and co-workers at TVA.
The family would like to express their appreciation for all the prayers, phone calls, and concerns during their time of bereavement.
