Mary Jane Seaver

Died: Nov. 2, 2012

Mary Jane Byerley Seaver, 81, of Afton, passed away Friday at Laughlin HealthCare Center.

She attended Afton United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Seaver retired from The Magnavox Company.

She was the widow of R. L. "Buck" Seaver.

Survivors include a sister and brother-in-law: Betty and Elmer Koehn of Morristown; a sister-in-law: Mildred Byerley; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Paul and Fannie Byerley; two sisters: Dorothy and Gerald Rideout and Carolyn and James Lyke; and a brother: Paul "Bud" Byerley.

The family expressed a special thanks to church friends and neighbors.

The family will receive friends from noon-2 p.m. Tuesday at Jeffers Funeral & Cremation Service, Afton Chapel.

The funeral service will follow visitation at 2 p.m. in the chapel with interment in Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The Rev. Sara Emmerich will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Hugh Seaver, Steven H. Seaver, John D. Seaver, William H. Seaver, James G. Seaver, Robert C. Seaver, and Conry Dyer.

Memorial donations may be given to the Afton UM Church or Shiloh CP Church Cemetery Fund.
