Victor Allen Evans, 48, of Chuckey, passed away Saturday in Chuckey.

Survivors include his mother: JoAnn Walker; four sisters and brothers-in-law: Susan and David Turner of Chuckey, DeAnn and Mac Blevins of Arkansas, Jeanine and Ronald Fertita of Louisiana, and Lynn and Joe Adcock of North Carolina; a brother and two sisters-in-law: Raymond and Julie Walker of Bulls Gap and Shirley Walker of Greeneville; a special friend: Pam Kimrey; and several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his father: Dale Evans; a second father: Dean Walker; and a brother: Hubert Walker.

The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. and 4-6 p.m. Thursday at Jeffers Funeral & Cremation Service, Afton Chapel, with the funeral service following at 6 p.m. The Rev. Randall Emmert will officiate.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Cedar Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.

His friends will be pallbearers.
